Recently, Hanersun announced the signing of a significant Joint Venture agreement with My Energy, one of the largest energy companies in Pakistan, to develop a total capacity of 500MW solar projects. Valued at a substantial amount, this collaboration marks Hanersun’s further entry into the burgeoning Pakistani market and lays the foundation for deeper development of clean energy solutions.
Pakistan has strong potential for solar power due to its abundant sunshine resource; however cost of conventional power generation from coal and oil has hindered widespread adoption of renewable alternatives. As the CEO of My Energy outlined, this partnership is timely and aims to bolster solar energy provision across key industries while advocating for a transition towards more sustainable options.
According to the agreement, multiple solar projects of 500MW will be developed across the country, with priority given to the steel and agriculture sectors. Plans include establishing distribution networks, dealer networks, warranty and service centers, alongside flagship stores.
Hanersun will contribute its industry-leading solar module products and technologies.
